QGII VGA!

After years in the making, the Anonymous Game Developers Interactive released the full-color version of "Quest for Glory II: Trial by Fire." (This game was designed by us and originally released in 1990 by Sierra-Online, so it's been more than a decade in the making!) Congratulations and Kudos to the Developers for this remarkable feat. It's available as a free download from their website.

They are giving away a poster for the game when you purchase a copy of their own original game, "Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman's Mine." Be the first on your block to have one on your walls, and support these valiant game developers. After all, it's hard to live off the profits from a free game.

Coming Soon - The School for Heroes

We are developing "The School for Heroes" website online which should debut in the next few weeks. This is the companion game website for the "School for Heroes" Interactive Fiction game we are developing. It's also the direct descendent of the "How to Be a Hero" website and on-line school. Return to the world of Gloriana with forums, on-line role-playing, blogs, and games. Get set for some fun, and enroll soon!

School for Heroes Blog

We are writing a weekly (or so) blog about our design process for School for Heroes on the Malinche website. Malinche Entertainment is the pubisher for Interactive Fiction games.

Our Current Projects

Transolar Entertainment is currently working on two other projects. We are developing the website for "So You Want to be a Copywriter" - a website designed as a resource for people starting out in the copywriting field. The site consists of articles, reviews, and a blog combined with information tidbits on a variety of subjects. The site is hosted by Garrett T. Ferret, expert information gatherer.

The third project we have started is an Interactive Fiction Game to be published by Malinche Entertainment. Based on the mythology and world of Quest for Glory, "The Famous Adventurer's School for Heroes" is a text adventure taken to new levels of interaction and game play. Fans of our previous games will once again be able to become a Hero and live the adventure. This is scheduled to be in alpha test by the end of September.
